About Frank

Frank Scalici is a freelance landscape, portrait photographer and travel guide. Currently Frank is focusing on furthering his guiding studies and currently works as a kayak guide on Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon in Iceland. Becoming a guide and gaining experience on Iceland’s mountains and glaciers has always been a long time dream for Frank. Combining both his love for the outdoors, landscape photography and portraiture, Frank has developed his practice to be combined with guiding and travel. 

Writing is one of Frank’s big passions. Having written for publications like LifeFramer, DODHO magazine and AAP, communicating with industry professionals and creating lasting relationships with photographers and artists alike. Most recently, Frank has started to write for the  ‘Art Space’. A quarterly edition aimed at discussing relevant topics in the current contemporary art world.
